any equipment you suggest for someone trying to start producing their own music?

a midi keyboard is quite helpful!! you can get them cheap. i produced literally everything until inbred using my mac keyboard to play keys which was quite annoying at times lol. also the first VST you should buy is a good EQ. i recommend fabfilter’s EQ if u can swing the price, it was the first thing i ever saved up to buy. a good EQ will really take you to new heights.
